Primitive influences are part of the design world; they accompany us like a spiritual father with great respect for primal forms and technique. Native America and places in Africa created a lot of natural primitive art that is difficult to recreate with today's technologies, especially texturally. My tendency is always, when working on a collection, to create distances of time from the past to now and this connection. In this collection, there is great inspiration that I bring from the toy world of the 80s, primal shapes that always excite and intrigue a child. I developed a pattern that you're not sure if it's childish or mature, and it's a place of nostalgia.
